RSVP works with the Middleton Senior Center using bicycles and bicycle trailers to provide Home Delivered Meals within the City of Middleton during warmer months. The Middleton Senior Center approached RSVP with the idea after checking with appropriate authorities about such matters as liability, bike safety, providing training, as well as the use of bikes and light weight trailers with thermal coolers. This program promotes going green as well as physical fitness to the volunteers. The Middleton Senior Center provides the training to the volunteers. Both the Senior Center and volunteers have provided the bikes and light weight trailers.
