Trained volunteers provide a visit to a client's home at the request of a case manager from one of the Dane County focal points (Senior Centers/Coalitions for the Aging). This service is free. They do a safety assessment and make recommendations on how to improve safety. They provide grab bars, night lights and other safety equipment or make referrals to other agencies. They follow up with the client to make sure the accomodations have been made.
