Our upcoming in-person Senior Planet tech skills class for seniors is scheduled for Friday, February 28, from 9:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the RSVP office located at 6501 Watts Road, Suite 250, Madison. This session will focus on smartphones.
The first segment of the class, titled «Smartphones at a Glance,» will discuss the fundamentals, including the reasons behind their popularity, various models available in the market, and the advantages and disadvantages of owning a smartphone. We will also examine the differences between the Android and Apple iOS operating systems.
The second segment will be a practical workshop called «Getting to Know Your Smartphone,» so please bring your device if you have one. If you are considering purchasing a smartphone, this is an excellent opportunity to discover the many features of this remarkable technology.
Please register only if you are quite sure you can attend the class. Space is limited to just 10 participants per class, so when registrants do not show up, it prevents someone else from attending. We will have coffee, tea, and donuts starting at 9:45 AM, with the class commencing promptly at 10:00 AM. A light lunch will be served at 12:15 PM.
